Heating Boiler Replacement Project
The Heating and Domestic Hot Water for the majority of this iconic complex was served by a number of old oil fired boilers, all well past their sell-by date!
The refurbishment and upgrade of these systems within their East and West Underground Plant-rooms included the renewal of all the Power, Control, Lighting and Instrumentation systems to all new and existing equipment.
This included a new Gas Fired Multiple Boiler Cascade, Calorifiers and water storage. Equipment was re-located and diverted, new equipment installed and connected and systems tested and commissioned. All the work was successfully completed to maintain heat and hot water at all times to the accommodation and ancillary areas used every day by the Chelsea Pensioners.
