Industrial Process Systems (IPS) was set up in 2002 by David Hetherington, our Managing Director.
IPS provide electrical and mechanical engineering support for industrial processes.
We install electrical equipment and cabling for food manufacturers, oil and gas processing companies, aircraft manufacturers and utility companies. Clients include Coca-Cola, Dale Farm, Glanbia, Siemens, Bombardier and Northern Ireland Water.
Seventy-five percent of our turnover is repeat business, and we tend not to lose clients.

IPS working for you
IPS do cutting-edge work in Northern Ireland, Ireland, mainland Britain and continental Europe. Recent projects include electrical installations in cheese manufacturing facilities; and wiring industrial modules (skids) for an offshore oil platform and a trans-continental gas pipeline.

David is an electrical engineer by background and has worked in Shorts (now Spirit AeroSystems Belfast), Litton Engineering, Cornhill Insurance and FIN Engineering. David’s aim is for IPS to maintain its reputation for technical competence, value for money and integrity.

Jonathan Martin
IMS Manger, Project Planner
Having been part of the initial core team at IPS I would like to see us growing more in the project management sector, securing new contracts and expanding our IT support client base.

I’ve also been part of the IPS team from its beginnings. We have developed a strong team in web technologies and the cloud, I see this as a big part of any business’ future.

Stephen Burrows
Office Management, Accounts
It’s my job to keep the accounts right at the backend of the IPS machine. I look after the running of office and help to schedule the job calendars.
